COVID-19 Community Vaccine Clinic

Black Hawk County Public Health is hosting a community COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday April 24th and Sunday April 25th at the National Cattle Congress Hippodrome. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered for persons 16 and older. Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also guarantee your vaccine today by scheduling an appointment with the Health Department online or over the phone.

Visit http://scheduleme.link/4603/ or call the Health Department at 319-292-2360 (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) to schedule an appointment.

The Health Department thanks those who have waited their turn for vaccination. You no longer need to wait as vaccine appointments are now available throughout Black Hawk County. “We want everyone to enjoy prom, graduation parties, vacations and gatherings with friends and family this summer,” said Dr. Nafissa Cisse Egbuonye, Black Hawk County Public Health Director. “Vaccination means less worry about having to miss summer activities because of potential exposure to COVID-19 and is the best way to protect yourself along with your family and friends.”
