EMBARC launched hotlines for 10 different languages for refugee and immigrant community members in Waterloo and Des Moines. Staff and volunteers with EMBARC are available to take calls and answer emails Monday to Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Our focus at this time is helping with basic medical questions, getting essential supplies like food, victim services, and applying for unemployment benefits. Please share these hotlines with refugee and immigrant communities as well as other organizations that serve these communities.
