Black Hawk County Public Health is offering an incentive program to increase vaccination rates among county residents. The program includes a raffle of twenty $500 gift card baskets. Four prizes will be drawn every Friday in July, beginning July 2. In order to be eligible for vaccine incentives:
· The recipient must be a Black Hawk County resident.
· The recipient must receive their initial COVID-19 vaccination dose between June 11-July 29, 2021.
· The recipient must have a current Black Hawk County address listed in the Iowa Immunization Registry Information System (IRIS).

MercyOne and UnityPoint Health are offering COVID-19 vaccinations during Sturgis Falls on June 25 and 26. Check event schedules for additional information.
COVID-19 vaccines are available through primary care appointments and retail pharmacies for Iowans age 12+. Visit our vaccine information page for more information. The Waterloo Test Iowa site is scheduled to close today, June 25. COVID-19 tests are still available at most healthcare providers and pharmacies. At-home test kits, offered free of charge to Iowa residents, will also be made available through the State; additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
TheCOVID-19 status for Black Hawk County is at Moderate with a 14-day average percent test positive rate of 9.3% on June 24; an increase from 7.4% one week ago. The Delta variant is present in the county.
